		<description>If the network is good enough, then people will likely make donations.  It has happened with music.  When it comes down to it, people do not mind paying for quality content online.  I think the way to go in a social network setting is a free base membership then paid optional upgrades.</description>

		<description>Mr. Wong the bookmarking site just announced the same thing... There is a free account option but with limited access and a trial period. If you want to use the system for any kind of marketing or advertising they&#039;ll make you pay for it.

Makes you wonder if they are going this route for pure protection of the quality of the content on the website or because of profitability reasons.</description>
