Cut & Paste is a 10-minute documentary about the process of zine making, including interviews with Boston zinesters & folks from the Papercut Zine Library.

Zines around the world! Gianni Simone has written a nice article about the zine scene in Japan; parts of this piece appeared in an article we published in ZW #28. And the Sydney Morning Herald has an article about zines, promoting an upcoming zine fair in Australia. Speaking of zine events, here’s some nice photos from the Chicago Zine Fest, courtesy of the Chicagoist.

Have you been to a zine fest recently? We’d love for you to write a fest report for the next ZW! Contact Jerianne for details. And help us update our zine event listings by emailing details to wordofmouth@undergroundpress.org.

This is older but we just heard about it: Another video about how to make a 1-page mini-zine plus a couple of mini-zines you can download and print and make (as shown in the video), courtesy of The Pinky Show. (Same process as shown in this video that you’ve probably seen this one before.)

And, finally, here’s a recent article from Racket Magazine that’s kind of about zine libraries and kind of about zines in the digital age, which Jerianne was interviewed for. (She wishes she didn’t sound so complain-y in it, but that’s just kind of how the interview went.)
