Zines and Riot Grrrl

Two links for you:
The first one is a review of Alison Piepmeier’s book Girl Zines: Making Media, Doing Feminism. The review talks a lot about how zines propelled and influence feminism in the 1990’s. And then there’s a review of the review from the blog Jezebel, which explores the age old question of blogs vs. zines.
